As far as I've heard Windows 10 has some serious backwards compatibility issues. Maybe try using Windows 8 or 7?

If that's too extreme you could also try the other stuff. Try using compatibility mode, or try deleting settings.cfg, etc.

You can also try different mirrors of the game:

Army Men RTS SETUP + Extras

Army Men RTS Original ISO

Army Men RTS Lite V1.0 by Dread+MarKana For Low End Pc's
:Owned: This last one is most likely dead. I haven't tried it...
I may not make the best maps, or be the best player, but I put a lot of time, effort, and care into my stuff. That counts for something, right? No.

Well, I'll be damned. People actually do reply on this forum. wow.

Anyway, the main reason I went over to windows 10 was because I had other folks try it on their comps using Win 10 and they had success. I on the other hand have not been able to get this chit to work on win 7 or 10.

This is what my error looks like (before and after deleting settings.cfg:

I also tried using every different compatibility pack with no success. Believe me, I've been at this for 3 days trying to get this to work.

In all honesty, this modding community is my only hope since this site pretty much contains the only group of people left who really know anything about this games coding.

Hm, well I only know about coding for ingame stuff, not windows issues. :-B

Maybe sniper could help?

Also a previous user a while back had this same problem, he also had AMD Radeon video card. Maybe try another? Or you could try the solutions I provided him and see if that helps.

need help getting game to work

I use Nvidia.

I don't know how it's bad all the time, but I have Windows of 10/x64 bit and the Army Men stomps like on previous unfinished Windows 8 and 8.1.

Laptop requirements
AMD Dual-Core Procesor E-300
15.6" 16:9 HD LCD
AMD Radeon HD 6310
4 GB DOR3 MEMORY
500 GB HDD
DVD-Super Multi DL drive

It goes to full screen. LOOL

It was never
I'm not saying I have good maps and that I'm a great player. I'm giving into that the most of my time.
