ABANDONED: Dark Reign 2 Map Pack 3

Wave 3 of Dark Reign 2 custom maps. Their filenames are numbered, so the two players maps are going to come first, followed by three player, four player, etc.

Support for these maps has ended. Do not inquire about them if they do not work properly. Links can be found below...

Map for eight players. Interesting terrain on this map. The four northern players start in a dome like environment, while the four southern players start in a deserto environment. There is actually space to move between bases, so be careful not to get your depot gimped. A large wall divided north and south, with only one small passage through it.

Map for two players. Players get plenty of space to build in, with two large hills for resources in between bases. Rather empty map, so lots of space for moving around too. If you're smart, you can use the wall in front of your base to defend yourself.

Map for two players. Small sized map with teams on opposite ends of it. Nice and easy to use resources to start with, with two more deposits between bases. There are two paths to take, with the larger one being more crowded by trees.

Simple map for two players. Bases start with 2 resource deposits to draw from, with a nice hill to hide their base behind. There are resources in the middle, but the rest of the map is open terrain for fighting in.

Map for two players. The two southern bases (shown in video) are the only two meant for play, with the other six teams simply being there to watch, although they can play too if they like. The two players start right next to each other, divided by the terrain, which can be shot over.

Map for two players. Terrain is similar to that of 2crazed, with there now being a huge trench down the middle. Rather small map. This uses the protect the HQ ruleset, however there are several invulnerable fenceposts around. They are not able to be passed by anything, even choppers, so you must wait for night to come around and the solar power to go out, which is every 300 seconds.

Map for two players. Bases actually get quite a reserve of resources to start. The bridges in the middle can't actually be walked underneath, so consider that just one big obstacle.

Map for two players. Players start on a platform/plateau type base, with a little bit of resources on top, and a lot of it down below. There are lots of props around to fill the map, with some being shootable to occupy time. Rather small map.

Map for two players. The two bases intended for play are inside the valley. Wide open expanse to fight in, with a choke point at the middle of the map. Resources in this map are single-celled and far in between, so build your depot wisely.

Map for two players. Teams start on either side of a wall, making for a very close and short game. You get some resources to start, but most of it lies at the corners of the map. Narrow paths are good for mines, that is if there aren't already towers there...
  1. AA Gun
    • Weapon no longer utilizes splash damage.
    • Firing delay decreased from 1.5 to 0.75
    • Damage against air decreased from 40 to 10 per shot.

I may not make the best maps, or be the best player, but I put a lot of time, effort, and care into my stuff. That counts for something, right? No.
