Create an equal terrain map using a program like photoshop. Its much better and easier to do than just using the brush.

I think Meth gave you the link for using the DR2 studio, it shows you how to do it there.

Hi

Yet another question. I'm experimenting with the 8ally map. Around the map there are impassable cliffs. I have brought the cliff heights down to the same level as the base area's (seems to be about -75). These base areas or starting points are "pits" that are lower than the rest of the map.
I have found that the lowered areas are impassable. I have changed the terrain paint. I can see one of the choices is "impassable" and I have made sure that the blocked area is a regular texture such as dirt. Can't find anything in the tutorials other than the regions menu but no effect.

Hi

The only files I keep from the DR Studio are terrain.blk, terrain.tga(converted) and one or two others. I put the original .cfg files back in before packing.
Which of the files has the information about what is impassable and what is not?
I'm guessing that is where my problem is
