• Do CTRL+SHIFT+ESC
• Press the down arrow key just once
• Press Delete (or DEL)
What these keys are doing is opening Task Manager, (although the black screen covers it, it *is* focused) navigating to where AMRTS is on the list, and then forcing it to shutdown. If it doesn't work, repeat steps 2 & 3 until it does.
For some reason, this issue happened to me repeatedly on another machine whenever I tried to CLOSE the game. This was my solution.
