help? game ranger

I have no idea why, and let me tell you this first.

*my firewall is on
*it has nothing to do with router
*army men rts & game ranger are both in the fire wall list that allows program to run.

and now to the subject: when some one start a game from the gr room, suddenly its taking me out of the game and back to the desktop screen, and it keeping say amrts is still running, i click ''join'' again and its still taking me out. help?
