Major breakthrough in finding the intelligence files.
So I've gotten myself an .iso image of the Army Men RTS PS2 game and have successfully opened it up. Among the things I saw were all the Special Operation missions and some .wav files that never made it to PC. While I've gotten the .wavs to work, I'm going to have some trouble on the .god files...
Anyway, I'm going to be working on putting the Intelligence Files back into the game.
For proof of my discovery, have some concept art. :)

Ha I like that DOOM reference with the ants. Are you planning on uploading the cut .wav files sometime?

Well I was planning on uploading a mod that replaces the bootcamp missions with the special operations and replaces the load button on the main menu with the intelligence files. The SO missions would use the .wav files. I'm about nearly done, but the Intelligence interface still need a lot of work.
I may not make the best maps, or be the best player, but I put a lot of time, effort, and care into my stuff. That counts for something, right? No.

I could, but thet would require two new buttons on the main menu screen, and a shitload of new coding... Believe me man, I tried.

I would like to announce that this project is coming to a close. I am nearly 99% done with this project, I have both the Special Operations and the Intelligence files fully operational. I just need to clean up the Intel and make it look pretty.
So when will it be done? I'd like to say sometime next week, but knowing how I tend to... 'procrastinate'... I think it's a safer claim to say by the end of this month. I look forward to seeing you all then.

I have another update on this thing. I have managed to find a pretty good PS2 emulator and a nifty tool for ripping models from it. I also have the ISO for Army Men RTS. This means if I am able to do this correctly, I could rip the missing Convoy Truck model, rebuild the .god using the basic geometry, and possible add the unit back into the PC game. All I need to do is make a full playthrough of Army Men in order to unlock the convoy mission... with shitty console controls... on an emulator... on my crappy PC... at 10 fps..

No, unfortunately... My (relative to the original post) new computer doesn't seem to rip models anymore from any emulator or the PC game itself. So I'm stuck back a square one. Not to worry though, I haven't forgotten about this, and I would do anything short of building a new computer to get that model ripper working again.
