Are you saying that when you installed your game somewhere else it worked?HQ-fizzo wrote:Tommy CD1 hate to do that I'm wrongTommyCD1 wrote:Well, can you still post the log? Go to the army men directory you installed it to and open the file called "amrts.log".
Also try to run the program in compatibility mode too. If not, then I guess to only thing to say is that I guess Army Men RTS doesn't work on a 64-bit machine.
but I am operating system Windows 8 (64bits) and the game is functioning normally
but when he pulls at the other amrts me this also did not go according to figure how I looked I install completely different than he

I may not make the best maps, or be the best player, but I put a lot of time, effort, and care into my stuff. That counts for something, right? No.

Re: need help getting game to work
it said the 4gb patch coulld not open the armrts exe
Re: need help getting game to work
Did you extract the file from the .rar? And did you use it on the crack after replacing the old file? Also, make sure your antivirus and firewall aren't blocking anything.

Yes, its strange thoguh because the crack is smaller thant the original file, and the crack is the one that isnt worknig
Re: need help getting game to work
So you mean the crack doesn't run or it doesn't patch? If it doesn't run (not that the original would without a CD), then maybe you could look for another copy somewhere? Maybe try to redownload that E]x[F copy you had.
Also, I don't mean anything, but I wanna be sure that you use the patch correctly.
First make sure that both files have been extracted. Do not try to run them out of the .rar file. Then run the "4gb_patch" file.
When the patch asks which file to execute, select the cracked amrts.exe file.
After a few seconds a new file called "amrts.exe.Backup" and this message should appear:
Next you want to run the Large Address Aware file.
Click the button next to step 1 then select the cracked file.
Next make sure this box is checked and then click Save.
It should then create a "settings.sav" file and say the patch was successful.
If you do get a new amrts.exe, make sure to rename it as "amrts.exe" and to patch that one too. Report back if you encounter any errors. Say what gives you the error and when it happened. Screenshots would be appreciated.

I'm not saying I have good maps and that I'm a great player. I'm giving into that the most of my time.
