This is the new official map.

This version has weapons roughy 4X more lethal than the base game's weapons. The balance should be good, but if not, just let me know!
Combat Overhauled seeks to turn everything you know about combat in AMRTS upside down. It makes combat faster and less forgiving, giving every unit custom performance characteristics, and costs to reflect that performance. It also features 2 units that should have been in the game from the beginning, the Flamethrower and the Chinook. This is more like what I feel the game's combat should have been, in the spiritual succession of the now seemingly dead Realism mod by {EMC}Pi. If nothing else, give it a try to see the most popular map in AMRTS in a new light.
NEW FEATURES!!!!!
1. Functional Chinook transport unit; (instructions for such mini mods below.)
2. Flamethrower infantryman.
3. New combat system. In general, infantry are more fragile, but also cheaper. Mechanical units are more powerful, but also expensive.
4. Advanced Camera Mod
5. Advanced Squad Control Mod
6. Expanded Unit Display Mod
Installation
Don't worry, everything is programed into the map itself, and does not affect the base game whatsoever. Just drag the file into your Missions/MP folder; simple as that.

When using the camera, F1-F8 sets camera height, number pad sets the direction of the camera's facing, (5 resets,) holding F engages free look.

To load the Chinook, select your unit(s,) (infantry only max 10,) and make a move order into the Chinook. To unload, press the L key, and make a move order to where you want the units to unload.
