Integer Overflow Error

Hey everyone. I know I haven't posted much on here before. I mostly just joined to get all of your cool maps and mods. So I gave my friend a copy of the game. He is running a Surface 3 with Windows 10. The game works fine for me on Windows 10, and it will occasionally work for him, and when it does it works great. However, most of the time when he tries to boot it he gets an "Integer Overflow" error. Is there a way to fix this? We have tried allowing it through the firewall and running it in compatibility with no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It doesn't seem to agree with the video card, as it crashed when it was setting up the texture detail and stuff.

Try deleting settings.cfg and then going into options on the main menu and changing them from there.

Well I tried that and we are getting the same error. Does anyone have a clean copy f the game he can try to reinstall?

Also, the copy I gave him is the .exe with all the game files included in one folder. It works fine for me, but he didn't actually install the game. We did create a directory for it and moved the file over to it, but that didn't seem to help either.

I'm afraid I wouldn't really know about errors like this, as Army Men has always worked on all my computers, so I really never had to deal with this. Maybe someone else can come in?

I also start with the basics, uninstall the game, clean the registry with a free registry cleaner, then try to re-install it. There is a lot of versions of the game. This is another I that made, http://amrtscw.com/exf/exforum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=546
Also try to change the compatibility of the game to windows xp sp2.
