Windowed

Anybody know how to get the game windowed mode or make the game run directx9 because, OBS (Open Broadcast Software) cannot find AMRTS fore recordings 
I've tried but so far have not been able to window amrts. Which is strange because the log recognized that window is an option and dr2 can window, so I don't understand why amrts doesn't. But I can continue to try as soon as I can.
I don't know what obs is but maybe try something else as well?
