Problems with Pc

I just installed Army RTS on my computer. I can get to the menu to choose a battle or a campaign etc... but it does not respond to my mouse or keyboard. I have the updated direct x my do not have this problems with other games. I looked on this boards and did an internet search and I am unable to find any answers. please advise. My computer is a dell inspiron B130 w/ win xp. And I installed it by disc.

Did it work before you updated DirectX? If it just that game, maybe there is a problem with the installation.

may be the data in cd is corrupt, u can try to download the game from

Yeah it's just that game. I reinstalled it and still no luck
