Was anyone successful in coding a Command Cost Counter?

I don't remember what happened the last time I had tried, but I do remember that it didn't seem possible to do. I can try again though, maybe I know more this time.

To be clear, you want a counter that displays the unit limit and how close you are to it right? As in
69/70 units
I may not make the best maps, or be the best player, but I put a lot of time, effort, and care into my stuff. That counts for something, right? No.

It'd be nice if that were achievable & when that'd've been achieved :DD: . Yet I'm having in mind & can make do with a counter which counts a player's current CPs.

For example, if the player possessed 69 units, then the number 69 will show up, instead of 69/70.
