Muddy Affairs

This time I bring you a completely original map. Some new Army Men content should be coming soon... hopefully my hiatus wasn't too long for some!

Download link

Extract to your Army Men RTS root directory.

Eight player map. Players start with a water gun and remote for starting resources. They can find additional resources in the dirt paths connecting bases, including chewtoys, a Captain Dan, and a flashlight. The garden areas serve not only to connect the outer bases together, but also as a hill area. The two gardens to the side have more constricted building options, but have easier to defend chokepoint entries, and contain a mega assassin robo and a 9-volt battery. The hill in the middle has much more movement room, and also contains a garden lamp for those who really want to draw up an army. The map features something fairly unique still, custom weather! It will rain as you play, and occasionally you may catch a glimpse of custom coded thunder! When in development, I play tested without any props, and since I enjoyed the way it felt as such, I decided to have little in the way of movement obstructing props. Also something interesting to note, the AI computer players seem to really enjoy this map! If you like playing with them, they may become noticeably more active than usual...

Special thanks to Zero and Robert for helping me take screenshots!
I may not make the best maps, or be the best player, but I put a lot of time, effort, and care into my stuff. That counts for something, right? No.
