Re: Heroic 1.1 Mod - Debugging two Maps
HOtFIXES: Fixed game-crashing bugs in two missions GB "garden / Garden Siege" and SO "beach / Sandy Breach". Thanks to dmarijan for reporting them.
Two links to download each individual map (hosted at MediaFire):
Instructions:
Downloads the two files beach.7z and garden.7z;
Extract the contents of the file garden.7z into missions > gb > garden.
Extract the contents of the file beach.7z into missions > so > beach.
Hope this help!
Please inform me whether it would work or no!

Unofficial Updated version of Special Operations' mission "This Old Fortress"

Extract the contents of file uberbase.7z into missions > so > uberbase of Heroic mod (not missions > so in vanilla AMRTS).
Explanation of Modified Objective: To win, player must destroy all four HQs (marked on the minimap), not just two at the map's top-left corner as required in the vanilla version. I can always mod the english.dat to make the wording sound somewhat more explicit like "Destroy All Tan HQs" yet the vanilla's wording is already interpretable as such, so

Spoiler
Player will start with a Minelayer so they can save... 100 Plastic & 100 Electricity ( ) ;
Just like in vanilla version, player can no longer build Medic Jeeps, yet will start with two Medic Jeeps to undo damages by the Tan's attacks.
The Tan will no longer attack the Player's base top-left corner.
The positions of the trees in front of the Green base's west gate have been slightly changed to remove LoS issue, allowing the Green team to defend their base a li'l bit more easily. However,
The Green team's unit limit is severely reduced to just (200) instead of Heroic's default (4076).

Spoiler
Player starts with 5,000 Plastic & 6,000 Electricity instead of 6,000 Plastic & 10,000 Electricity. (well, in Heroic's version the Dumdum is ~33,33% tougher (tho' is more expensive & costs 4 Command Points), Dumdum's self-destruct explosion has a large range, and all recource objects have larger capacity (e.g. the vanilla Toaster contains 4000 Electricityl while the Heroic 1.1 Toaster contains 15,000 Electricity (yes, you read that right)) anyway; so starting with a smaller pool of both resources should not be much of a problem)
All Tan on map (including the pesky Choppers) will self-destruct in AWE of Green's victory.
& many more which i can't remember.

Updated Version of Story Campaign Mission: S11 - "One Man Army"
Download Link:
S11.7z
Instructions:
Please report bugs, I will fix them asap!
Minor fixes:
* Fix a bug which prevents the Tan barbed wire posts from properly self-destructing after the mission has been completed;
* Minor modifications to intro cutscene.
Gameplay fix: A Thumbtacks near the resource object Punk Peachy has been converted into a Glue Bomb so player shan't lose Dumptrucks should they forget to sweep with Hoover or generic Minesweepers.
These fixes can actually be done without re-downloading by:
(1) Using NotePad++ to open the objects.cfg file in S11 < story < missions;
(2) Adding these lines of code:
(3) Changing this line from:
to
(4) Saving.
S11.7z
Instructions:
- Extract the contents of the file S11.7z into missions > story > S11 in your Heroic 1.1 copy (NOT vanilla)
Spoiler
Vanilla:
Heroic:
The whole map has also been mined, just to make Hoover useful.
The Heroic cutscene is also made less noisy by creating "Huey" units visually identical to Choppers yet with quiet rotors.

Re: Heroic 1.1 Mod
SO mission Road Block is toooo hard to finish, even with 'ahoy captain dan' cheat
Can you make it easier ?
Can you make it easier ?
Re: SO mission Road Block
To dmarijan,
I genuinely apologize. I cannot make "Road Block" easier otherwise it would not deserve a 5-star rating.
However, I can tell you these tips:
Spoiler
You do not need to destroy the Tan escorts, only the Convoy Trucks. Do not be too proud to run away when you feel you cannot handle all the escorts, who shall not cause you to lose the mission even when you let them get away. The Convoy Trucks move slowly, so focusing your efforts on picking them off.
There are two full-health bonuses, not one.
One is already available at player's starting location
The other, the secret full health bonus, is here next to the Blockos' Town Hall:
Use them judiciously! & I am confident that you will successfully complete the Mission.

Challenge Issued!
Dare anyone raze this Tan base to the ground then wipe away the pools of melted Tan-colored plastic?
