New Maps.... *A Rant*

Although it's nice to see many people take an interest in the game, I find it disturbing in just how many horrible maps are being made.

Simply put, this is exactly why Sniper refused to talk about making new maps, he knew this would happen. We have a bunch of talent here and yet its not being used correctly.

Maps today have way to many problems.

1: They are uneven. Meaning in a game, one person might have an advantage over his opponent because of the difference in terrain. I've seen this over and over and over again. If you wanna make a good map make it even to all players.

2: Bugs: To many people today just want to make maps to get their names out to the public. Yet when you play the games you see all these bugs in them. When Sniper makes a map he takes almost 2 weeks to simply work out the bugs in the map... Sure he might not get em all out by the time of release but he relies on people to tell him so he can go ahead and change the map. I don't see people do that at all.

3: It's about the customer not the maker. This is important simply because we make maps not for us.. but for people to play it... I can bet that most new maps are not made for the community but rather for the maker... Meaning they made it the way they wanted it to be.. not for the way the community might like it to be.


Enough is enough people.. f--k... Stop slacking off and start making decent f--king maps.... Don't flood this b--ch with shit and wonder why people don't play new maps anymore...

I don't mind.. I just mind when people make maps to fast and not think about if its good and is it fair and if people might like it.

well i guess i would be good
cause it would probably take me a month just to make a map
cause first it takes me forever to think of an idea
then i got to make sure that everythings perfect before i release

actually i havent played any W.W maps yet
i just know that everybody looks horrible with them all sparkling and it just makes the game more annoying

I aint calling anyone out specifically... Simply put.. this is for anyone who makes maps without putting effort into it.
