Re: plzzz help😪😪

Okay, like I said from before, any methods I've listed are all I know. Maybe someone else knows something, but you'll just have to wait and see if someone does come around, or try finding help elsewhere, such as a Discord or something I guess. Please do not repeatedly make the same post multiple tim...

Re: Having issues with custom shadows

I'm not too familiar with how the live shadow works, if it even works at all in Army Men or even ingame, so I'd not be able to help you much there. However, I know that if the object uses a generic shadow, then you can assign it to use a specific shadow texture instead of the default circular one. T...

Re: HELP PLZ

Unfortunately no. The root of this problem is your graphics card and its drivers being incompatible with this game. And aside from what's mentioned above and upgrading / downgrading graphics drivers, different hardware is the only way that I know of at least to get any kind of change in results.

Re: HELP PLZ

Try deleting the settings.cfg file inside the game's main directory. Try to run the game in compatibility mode. Windows XP (Service Pack 2) is a good one to start one, but any choice should help. Try to rename/remove the dbghelp.dll file located in the game's \..\library\dbg\ folder. (The log seems...

Re: No collision in custom models. Need Help

If a unit is moving through a static building or prop, that building or prop is likely not zipped. You can zip an object in the studio by selecting it and then pressing CTRL + down. Note that whether an object even can be zipped is dependent on it's .GOD file, which means that is determined when the...

Re: No collision in custom models. Need Help

The only logic the "bounding box" is used for AFAIK is the collision detection for projectile weapons. Projectiles will "hit" a target when the bounding boxes of the target and projectile collide. Any other collision detection you may be thinking of: units walking into each other...

UPDATE: 04/14/2023 - Beach Derby

The same update as last time has been released for this map. Compressed music .wav files into .mp3 files. Filesize is reduced by around 80%. Increased gain for several tracks, so they should be of equal volume to the vanilla music tracks. Moved the music files into the main .x archives. Previously I...

Re: Deleted Map

I've moved these topics into the dead links forum. Please, for future reference, DO NOT BLANK OUT YOUR POSTS THIS WAY! It creates unnecessary clutter, ruins any legacy links that go back to these topics, and also is a detriment to the archival of the site itself. If you don't want to host your maps ...

Re: Anyone still alive here ? calling all old school players

GameRanger is still around as far as I can see, with people playing in lobbies even now. Whether they play for fun or not is up for debate though... As for other clients, most people either use Hamachi to connect directly with each other, or just forward a port on their router to play. Although both...
