Looks really cool Peta, the size can be a plus too. What are you going to fill the space with? Props, resources, units?
And this definitely isn't an army men 2 map I guess that mean's it's need for speed?

Yeah, if that's the model your trying to use, then it's way too high poly. Army Men can only support a maximum of about 1500 vertices I believe. Vertices are the points of a model where the edges connect, three together make a single triangular face. I would suggest taking a much smaller model and importing that into 3DStudio, and then removing some of the less important details until the meshviewer accepts it.
