My mom's being completely unreasonable

Okay, so I always put my backpack on the table in my house close to the front door, so I look there first by habit. So, I had it first, it's my turf. Simple. Then, my mom decides to make it the guests' turf, even though they already have 2/3 of the 3 tables. It'd take 23 times for my brain to change a habit that's been in my hippocatamus. 23 TIMES! So, that's completely unnecessary, and unreasonable. Help me out here guys, if majority rules (first to three votes), my brain doesn't have to risk a concussion.
